The Micro Spirometer is specifically designed for situations where low cost precision respiratory measurement is required. Low end-expiratory flows are often seen in COPD and Asthmatic patients. Micro Medical has developed a Gold Standard Transducer to ensure that such measurements are absolutely precise, and many other spirometers cannot offer this.
